The Creative Process
The creation stage does not have a determined time, it can take a few days and sometimes years, but this is how objects are born, it is the moment we enjoy the most in our work. It is a stage of exchange of ideas, sketches, revision and doubts. It also involves the choice of colors and textures of the materials used. Then we begin to shape prototypes that are transformed from a succession of changes that finally lead us to be satisfied with the designed piece.
Another stage is the realization, which takes place in several steps. It begins with the cutting and carving of the wood, lining of the pieces with leather or wool according to each case, protection and finishing of the wood, and the final assembly.
At all stages of the process, the pieces are personally hand made by Carlos Clavelli and Rocío García.
